Schools are the places where young individuals learn many things that parents can sometimes not teach. However, most parents would want their child to be homeschooled and will just buy homeschool curriculum text books for their kids.

Homeschooling had been implemented long ago. In addition, the number of homeschooled children had reached more or less 1 million during 2001. It increases and reached 2 million in 2012. Now in year 2018, what do you think is the recent statistic? Perhaps more than five million had been added. You probably know someone dealing that situation. But what do you think is the reason on why parents want this?

As for the reasons, many can really be stated. But for the top one, parents definitely wanted to prevent their children from being bullied by their classmates or by some individuals at their schools. As a parent, you cannot stomach it seeing your baby being hurt by others. Furthermore, you cannot just go inside the classrooms to watch your kid for that is prohibited at schools. For that reason, humans had discovered homeschooling.

Yes, you could protect them from harm. And yes, you may manage and look their progress. But is it reliable to them? Before making a decision to have your daughter or son homeschooled, perhaps should know first its advantages and disadvantages. After knowing, you can decide whether you want them at school or at your house.

Homeschooling give you a chance and assurance that your child will surely be safe and protected. It could be good for you since you may not get some stress at knowing your child feeling down about the bullies. And it gives your child more freedom to be himself which sometimes can be restrained at schools.

Furthermore, you can manage his schedules well. If the boy still has practice at his piano schedules, you have the opportunity to modify the schedules which most schools could not make. The child also got the pace of learning and you may select a curriculum for him to focus.

Regardless of that, it also contains disadvantages. Homeschooling them means you must commit on giving them proper education. Then it also means that you have to resign at your work to teach them. That would really be difficult and also expensive since you will be buying books and other materials for educating them.

In addition, kids may not develop their interpersonal skills for they only stay at house, lacking some social interactions with other people at school. It would become a problem for them later in their life. Homeschooled kids might miss social and fun activities that can only happen at schools like camping, field trips and many more.

You should really think twice before making a final decision. It might be risky for homeschooling. Nevertheless, just choose the best for both of you.
